The Dangerous Dessert!

I was looking through my iPhoto just now, and I came across this picture!!  *salivating*

An Arabic dessert called Kunafa'!!!!
(Yes, it may look ugly...but the taste is just sinfully delicious!)

Ishhh... Very bad timing! I'm PMS-ing right noww.. and I just want all things sweet! I've been eating fine chocolates (with fine amount of sugar inside, that is! Pfffttt), cupcakes, shortcakes, Red Velvet cakes, Chocolate cakes, macaroons, some malay kuih2, and cekodok pisang and all things unhealthy and high in sugar and FAT. Haihh. I hate to have eaten all that..in just 4 days!! Arghh.
And I'm sure, all that would definitely go straight to my bum! Haihh..

But..I've got no other choice but to satisfy my cravings jugak jugakk...otherwise, I'll turn into a fiercely crazy young lady whose hormone is imbalance, and always wanna yell at things! LOL ;p

Anyways.....when my hormone was a bit balance (because I just drank 2 cups of hot cocoa), I... ter-click and ter-saw that picture in my lappy! Dammmit! >_<

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my goddddd.... After seeing these pictures, it made my saliva dripping.. and made my laptop wet! haha.. Seriously..I've been wanting this dessert so badly ever since I came back from Saudi...

It's the best arabic dessert ever.

........anddd it's the most delicious and fattening dessert I've ever eaten! (Well... Ok. I've eaten so many fattening food actually ;p)

Anyways... If you're not that familiar with this dessert, well.. Kunafa' is actually an Arabic dessert, with a cream cheese filling in the center. - There are many types of fillings in the basic recipe, like cheese, banana, nut, and cream just to name a few.. But my fave one would be the original one.

I could finish the whole thing, even though it's a bit muak if you've eaten so much... But honestly, the taste is soooo sinfully sedap. Perisa gemuk.

Yum.

Anyone knows where can I find and get this Kunafa' dessert in KL?! Pretty pleaseeee... This PMS lady has starting to grow her nails longer and ready to battle, after seeing that pictures! ;p

SHE FREAKING NEEDS HER DOSAGE OF KUNAFAKKK!! HELPPPP! >_<

Every Girl's Dream!

A walk-in closet!!!!!

Well.. I am not that type of SATC girl. I am not Carrie as for the clothes, or her bags, and surely not her shoes. And yes, definitely not even Samantha! tskk. But.. every time when I see any girl's walk-in closet, I want to have one, and I want to be one of those girls. Just because of the functionality and the beauty of this kind of room. And the privilege that you'll get to linger in that room and see all the beautiful things just before your eyes, and feel so happy, even when you're having a really bad day....

A walk-in closet is a lavish yet practical solution to cramp and store all your beautiful things into it! It offers an excess amount of storage options...and that's why it is what every (shopaholic or girly) girl's dream of having! ^_^

Imagine..having lots and lots of spaces for your clothes, and your shoes, and your bags..etc! Oh goshh.. Just thinking about it, makes me so excited! hehe.. There'll be no more wardrobe malfunction! - My closet behaves more like a black giant hole in which my clothes seems to just disappear within! Sigh..

Sometimes it's really tiring to dive in my closet, and to find that newly purchased TopShop blouse of mine, in my entire wardrobe, and having to tear apart all the clothes inside it, just to find that one little blouse to wear to work.. - I have such a  little space for my heaps amount of clothes! tskk. (Errr... 2 and a half cupboard for your clothes is little, rrrrright girls? Yes.. it's only two and a half! Not even a three..how sad!)

And don't let me start talking about my bags' space/cupboard. It's pathetic! I cramped up everything inside that tiny little space! It's no wonder I always wear the same bag over and over again, just cause it's tiring to search in what seems like a little garbage in there! >_<

I wanted everything on a display.. Easy to search and choose.. A walk-in closet is definitely a nice feature to add in a bedroom.. Seriously...I don't mind having a tiny room, but as long as I get a hugeeeeeeeeee closet!!! hehehe ;p

It just makes clothes preservation easy. And plus, it provides maximum convenience to change your clothes with everything that you will need close by! Ahhh... There is nothing better than being able to get dressed with ease!

And that is why... this little girl, does need a walk-in closet! Well.. which girl, doesn't? hehee ;p

Imagine...having a lot of space to hang your clothes, your shoes, your bags, your little items..and so on.. and with some big fat giant full-length mirror in it, and extra, extra space to stand around them and do your business while lingering on that pretty little things of yours!! Ahhh...bliss!
A walk-in closet can also serve as a dressing room, which provides an organized space for getting dressed and do your make up and hair, or in my case, tying and wrapping my scarf! =)

Anyways.. I was browsing on the internet to get some ideas of walk-in closet designs.. as I'm thinking to revamp my room... And I stumbled upon so many great designs, that my eyes hurt from not knowing which shall I put aside for reference! There's just too many that I love! Ishh

However, Carrie from SATC's closet is still my number one choice! Simple yet  amazing! I likeee!

It is a rectangular room with doors in the narrow sides. The one door is the entry from the bedroom and the other goes straight to the bathroom. I would love to have this kinda room! It's perfect!

Why I love this closet, is because it has a one side for masculine's closet and another side for herself! I find it so cute, and sweet!! And then, in the middle of the room, there is a central zone with down-scent spot lights, just over the daybed. Over these spots there is the hidden lighting also...which makes the room appear glowy and glossy.. and look SO pleasant! I really think lighting contributes greatly to the look and feel of a room!

However... I don't quite like her shoe closet! (Too little space! heh ;p)

But I love love loveeee that she has lights in here! This space is full of lights! It's like a display rack on a shoe store! Coolness!!! I can just sit still in front of these amazing shoes..and watch a shoe movie! hehe

Anyway...let's drool over some closets that I like..

This room reads: Girly and Neat. - Flowers, White. and a little pink! ;)
Everything is kept inside that wardrobe.. I can't see what's inside it.. Hmm..I wonder what clothes and shoes inside there! Btw, I like the zebra printed couch, and that purple rug. It's cute!

This one...can't see that much. But I do love her shoe rack! So many heels to rest in there!! ^_^

Ahh..this one. Posh meets Glamour.
I think this room has a feeling of luxury.. I don't know why, but there's just something about ivory wardrobe and closet, that gives the room a little poshy feeling..

This one..I can't see the whole room, but I like how she arranged her stuff in here! It's pretty!
(but this one actually looks like the ones from the Ikea book! LOL ;p)

And lastly... one of my favourites!

I call it a Disneyland for a girly girl like me! hehe.. It's super girly and sweet!!!! I finally understand what this phrase means "It's like a fat kid in a candy store" ..or cake or ice cream..or whateverr that is sweet! heheh ;p

Ahhh... Can't stop drooling over these closets, kan?! Jom mimpi pasal a walk-in closet nak, malam ni? hehee ;p

P/s: One day, when I get my walk-in closet.. I can already imagine the stuff that I'm gonna put and display around the room. Especially the little Kelly bag that dad got for me! No more storing it in that huge orange box! hehe.. Mmmmm... Can't wait for that! ;)

It was this girl!!

My sister's daughter, Raina Aryssa!

Oh well.. but.. I'm fatter! ;p But still, our eyes look about the same! Even my mom said she looks like me when I was a baby...hehee.. *Tiba tiba excited sangat sebab terasa macam tengok anak sendiri*.... or *Terasa macam tengok diri sendiri masa baby*

Pffft. Perasan. Raina comel lagi kotttt..huhu ;p

Aren't we look about the same? hehehe ;p

So.. Along, can I make her my anak angkat? LOL

Face Mask

Do you use face mask?

I do! I do! I use it every week! So what about you? What type of face mask do you girls like to use? There are many types of face masks, and they are: clay masks, cream masks, peel off masks, fruit extract masks, yogurt masks, and gel masks, just to name a few in the long lineup of facial masks in the market. Well for me, I prefer clay mask and a peel-off mask. Both masks absorb excess oil and dust particles while they dry.. And they also tighten up my skin and pores and help to stimulate blood circulation. That's why I love these masks.. Plus, they are suitable for my skin type. ^_^

I don't know about you, but I think adding a face mask in your skincare regime is vital.. It is a beneficial step in your skincare regime! However, you do not need to use it everyday..as face mask is a weekly routine. (Trust me, you don't want to use them everyday.. It won't do any justice to your skin, if you use it too often.. And plus, masks could be really expensive too!)

Facial masks can really clean your face, tighten your pores, hydrate, brighten and exfoliate your face, depending on types of masks you're using... It is very important before you buy a facial mask, you must first recognize your skin type and then buy them accordingly. No matter your skin type, there is a facial mask suited for you. So buy them accordingly, bukan main hentam jer..hehe

As for me, most of the time.. I would use clay masks because I have a combination skin.. And they are great for my skin. But these days,  the skincare that I use right now, is making my face a little bit dry.. So, my beautician suggested me, to use a facial hydrating/sheet masks twice a week..

So the other day, while I was browsing through the products in my fave drugstore, Watsons.. I saw these masks.. with different color packagings and types.. The brand is called My Scheming. They are from Taiwan.. Lovely cute packaging. And it's very cheap too! ^_^

So I thought I wanted to give it a try, since my L'Occitane hydrating cream mask is about to finish.. so, I bought all of them! Different color/type is for different function.. But all of them is a hydrating mask..

Facial Cloth Masks

I like these masks because they don't have a strong fragrance in it, which is great because try imagine to sit for at least 20 minutes of not being able to breathe properly! hehe. The masks from this brand has a very soothing smell... Which I like! Seriously, try using it while laying down on the bed! You'll sleep like a baby! hehe

Gotta love it! ;)

It also rejuvenates the skin. Well, all sheet masks' main objective is to balance up the skin hydration level.. So it basically does like what other sheet masks do. But the essence from this mask is not too watery nor too sticky too, which is so great because you can just peel it off and let the excess essence on your skin to dry.. And your skin would feel SO SOFT afterwards! That's why I love it!

Anyway, do try it! It's less than 10 bucks per piece (I forgot how much I purchased in Watsons. Probably around RM 7 or maybe RM 8. Can't remember!)

These are my favourites! Lavender, Bulgarian Rose, Sakura, Pearl Extract, Aloe Vera and Bird's Nest

So ladies, do indulge yourself and enjoy vibrant smooth skin. You deserve it!

Adding More Colors to My Work Attires

When I think about what to wear to work, black and white always comes into my mind.. It's like, there's no other colors than those two!

Every single time when I think about working/office outfits, I don't know why...but those two colors would pop into my head, and then I'd start remembering the tops that I have in those two colors and started to imagine what to wear it with, and just 'suddenly', forget or rather abandoned my others tops in my closet.. Sigh... It's like my mind has been set to think, that colored tops are only for outings..and only black/white is appropriate for office. Ha. Ha.

Although...black or white does seem 'decent' and would always appropriate and always nice to wear to work...rather than bold striking colors (at least, I think so! ;p)
Because I really think that you can never go wrong with those two colors...

But then...  When I look at the clothes that I tried on for the office wear last time, when I was playing dress up in my room.. I realized how boring that color is! Most of them are black or white! Ugh. How boringggg! Kan?! =(

So.. I dived into my closet, and try to find some colors..to inject in my working attires.. And.. I found some!! Hoorah! How can I forget that they've been hiding in there all awhile this time?

Thus today, I thought I wanted to share some of my colored / 'fun' working attire that I have in my closet (which I didn't realized I have it for so long already!), apart from black or white..  LOL ;p

So these are some of it! (Errr... I knowww, there's still black & white that I tried on, in here! Haha. I just couldn't leave this color, could I? ;p)

1. A boyfriend shirt in Navy Blue which I bought in Jusco. Cinch it with a woven Grey waist belt

2. Club Monaco Black & White blazer, pair it with a zebra printed spaghetti-strapped shirt from a vintage store

3. Green Mustard blouse with pockets and gold buttons. Got this from my mom! It was hers. She wore it in the 80's..and now, hands it down to me! Oh, I love vintage stuff! - I wore it with a Black pencil skirt from Cotton On

4. Animal printed tops. Can wear them alone, or with some waist cinchers. - In this picture, the Brown cheetah printed top is from Topshop. And the Black & White cheetah printed top is from Zara. And the Black waist cincher is from Coast

5. A long sleeved Mimpikita Zara pleated Green chiffon top.

6. Cerulean colored chiffon shirt with pleats at the front. From FCUK

7. A Cream colored oversized cardigan from MNG, an Orange silk tank top from Portmans and a scarf from Marks & Spencer

8. Karen Millen 3/4 sleeved zippered top, in striking Yellow

9. Waterfall blouses. The Red one from Principles. And Black from Warehouse. (And the Grey vest is from Zara)

10. Red checkered top/jacket from Forever 21.

11. Violet blazer from Agenda.  Dark purple halter top from Seed. White pants from Warehouse. White patent bag from Dior

12. A Turquoise sleeveless silk top from Target. Black blazer from a vintage store. Scarf from Warehouse.

Hmm...after listing out all the rainbow colors, above... I realized, I did not try any of my Pink tops! That's so weird! For a girl who likes pink...hehee
Well, maybe next time when I wanna try out my clothes and play dress up in my room again, I'll snap some pinkies... Ok?  ;)

So tell me ladies, what is your usual color that you wear to work? Share with me! Is it black and white as well? hehe ;p
