They Have a Happy Home Now...
Remember this post?
You knoww... The one that was published in InTrend magazine in April 2010? The Heels in the Wheel post... Ring a bell? heheh ;p
Oh well...since I am no longer staying in a hostel, and no more traveling back and forth from my house to my hostel - to take and to send my clothes and my laundry and what not...
So...............
I can now store all my shoes in the shoe closet in my room! Yeayyy.. No more "walking shoe closet"... They have a happy home now. Much more comfortable for them to stay.. hehe
I just de-cluttered my shoes from their boxes or dustbags, to store them in my closet.. Now let's have a look...
Well..
Now thisss, is my little shoe closet!
There's a little more space in here actually... Hmm... it's a good sign for shopping, I guess?? heheheh ;p
P/s: I hope one day I'll get my "Walk-In Shoe Closet", just like them! AMIN! hehe ;p
XOXO,
S.

But these are only my favourite ones.. The rest that is not so lovable by me, I'll put them in the "family shoe closet" downstairs
(Oh btw... Yes, I still haven't hang my Audrey Hepburn canvas on the wall.. Heee ;p)
When I was happily doing this job, I realized that I haven't got any green colored shoes! (Yeayy..time for shopping, I guess? heheh ;p)
Anyways..
Here's how my little shoe closet looks like..
No... Not this actually.. hehe. This is all my fave shoes. So I didn't put them in the closet.. Instead, I displayed them on a rack, making it as a decor in my room! =)
Well..
Now thisss, is my little shoe closet!
I couldn't take the full length of it..Because my camera couldn't capture the full length of this closet..and also because I am so short! T_T
So... I snapped every tier, so that you could have a look at them..
One tier could fit about only 8 pairs of shoes.. So since I don't have that many shoes, thank God it could store all my fave shoes in here! No need to buy another closet! hehe. And I arranged them according to colors, by the way.. easier to choose, right?!

My Fifth Day in Perth
Okay. So here's a little update on Perth. =)
On this day, we only went for shopping! Yes, shopping for the whole day!! So most of the time, we were indoors. And I was busy browsing and shopping that I forgot to take some photos, for me to share it with you guys here.. So, nothing much to share/show though in this day. sob sob.. =(
So anyway, on that day, Aunt Maria and Uncle Abbas brought us one whole family to the biggest shopping mall in Perth, Karrinyup Shopping Centre to feast our eyes and feed our hands.
It is SO biggg! The shopping mall is only a 2-storey building..but there are so many shops in there! I almost got lost in there! There's a lot of big departmental stores like Myer, David Jones, Woolworths, Big W, anddd more than 60 specialty shops/boutiques in that shopping centre! It is indeed, not enough for me to spend a day in this mall..cuz, there's just so many interesting things to seeee!!! (and maybe buy!) ;p

I may not have a Walk-In Shoe Closet (yet)..
But..
I have my walking shoe closet!!! ;p
Well, this is not my car actually. It's my lil' brother's. Borrowed for a few minutes just for this post! Heeee. Cuz he has such a spacious boot! I wish my car's boot is this bigg! So I can arrange my shoes like this!! =)
So these shoes are my essentials. I have the little black heels, the essential pumps, the highest of a heel, the decent stilettos, the slippers, the mules, the peep toes, the open toes, the leopard, the yellow, the pink, the zebra, the blingbling and so on.. I put all these babies inside my car. The rest, I placed them in the walk-in cupboard in my house. It's easy to store everything in my car because even when I wear my frumpiest clothes ever, at least when there's a sudden emergency where I need to look decent, I'll slip in my heels right away! =)
So it's easy for this shoe fetish girl to choose what shoes to wear whenever she's going out and about to malls or class or just about anywhere in the world, cuz every essentials are in her wheels, you know! =P
Sila bayangkan.. Lepas dah parking, perempuan ini ke belakang kereta dan membuka bonet yang penuh dengan kasut..sambil memikir kasut apa nak pakai. Heeee.. ;P
P/s: Noww.. I 'need' a bigger car. Oh daddy..I'm getting older. Can I have a bigger car with a bigger boot, pleeashhhhhh? heh ;P
XOXO,
Shoe Fetish Girl.

I Deserve Some New Shoes!
Raya is just a few days away. But I haven't really shopped for Raya stuff like last years. Probably cuz I've gained weight and feeling kinda low lately. So that's why I wasn't really in my Shopping Raya mood. I only have some baju kurungs. Tudung pun takde. haih. Nevermind..I can always borrow my mum's.
So the other day, I went out and bought some Raya footwear for myself cuz I thought I deserve some, after been fasting from shopping for quite some time.
Though I've been telling myself, not to indulge (or rather invest) in shoes many many times, cuz I know I own a lot of shoes and have more than enough already. But I just don't know why, I failed to do so. I can't stop myself from buying them whenever I see some great designs esp. those with 5 inches heel. I find shoes are some sort of collectible arts.
A 5 inch heels would always make this shortie little girl feel wonderful, powerful, and confident. =)
Just so you know, whenever I feel so low, I like to treat myself. Shoes (and chocolates!) would always somehow make me feel much better, although it has got nothing to do with my problems/issues. Because shoes always fit even though I gained a few pounds! And just by looking at my pretty feet, makes me feel so happy! I love owning those beautiful pieces of art in my closet. And I love looking down at them with big grin on my face thinking, “Those are mine!”.
I still remember when I was 18, the day I broke up with my ex boyfriend (he cheated), my sisters brought me to KLCC to eat some chocolate cakes and to do a little shopping to take my mind off it.. I bought some Eclipse shoes and wore them straight away. Then after a few walks in it, the weird thing happened. For some weird reason, I felt nothing. Nothing at all. I didn't feel sad or anything like I was. It was such a relieve not to feel sad at that moment. I hate being depressed. So lucky for me, I wore such pretty pink heels at that time that somehow heeled my heart! haha =)
Hmm..I think it is really true what Victoria Beckham said.
Though this may sound so ridiculous to some, but shopping really IS therapeutic for me. Shoe shopping to be exact.
And yes.. I have a confession.
Recently, I bought some shoes when I was so stressed out about something/someone. I bought three high heels and one flats. Well, it's a flip-flops actually. And these four items that I splurged on are so comfy and pretty! I was happy and satisfied. And totally forgot about her. =)
Two out of the four footwear that I purchased were from Juicy Couture. Oh, I loved their footwear range! They're very trendy and classy! (especially their boots range! Why oh why Malaysia doesn't have winter? sobs. Kalau tak, boleh pakai hari-hari. haha)
Out of all the Juicy Couture ranges, I personally think that their footwear suits the couture label the most. Not the bags, nor the tracksuits (although these two items are one of the most famous products as compared to the other ranges for this brand). They look too bimbo for me. But then again, it's your choice and preference. =)
Hmm..heels versus flats? Which one would you go for?
I love the suede leather red heels the most. It's peep toe (my favourite!) and the chunky heels made it even more comfy to walk it in
Well..Imma true high heel girl, so of course my pick would be heels! That flip flop is for casual wear..or beachy wear..hehe
Oh hey..
I also bought some juicy little make up cases! They're great to put inside your handbag or your main make up case.
I bought this so I can put my make up brushes and lip liners/eyeliners/mascaras and some lip glosses in it, so my handbag would be more organized instead of main campak campak je mascara apa bagai sume dalam handbag..Nanti nak cari susah..
I bought two. One for my handbag. Another is for my make up case
Okay. That's all for now. Gotta do some Raya preparations, clothes packing, and some postings! Chiow!
XOXO,
S.

the Shoe Issue
Shoes.
Trendy or Practicality?

Ladies, do you wear shoes because you have to (to protect your feet!), or because it looks good on you?
These days it’s more of a question of style and preference, I think.
Well, I wear shoes because I want to compliment my outfit of the day..and match it with my purse! hehe.
Sometimes I wear really uncomfortable shoes just because they look good! I don't wear shoes because of its practicality. I wear painful shoes all the time! I wear stilettos day in and day out. haha. What can I say, beauty is pain! (Sometimes I even got bunions and blisters on my feet and still force them to walk! And as a result, Radzique has to bear with my complaints all day long! haha. Sometimes I wish high heels are made for men too, so that they'd understand how painful in can be! hehe)

I personally think that shoes should be every woman's number one accessory. It's just such a pleasure when looking down at your feet and seeing something fabulous!
Anyways, do you ladies prefer to wear flat shoes or high heels?

I am a very petite girl. So I would definitely prefer high heeled shoes as it lifts me up a bit and gives me a better posture when I'm walking, despite the undeniable affects to my backbone and posture later on..huhu =P
But without them, I really really feel short and dumpy!! So when I'm in my heels, I feel more confident cuz not only do they elongate my leg, but they also help pull a more polished look and make flattering effect on my calves!
My most favourite black heels of all! It's reaaaallly comfy, I tell you! Seriously! I wear this one practically everywhere!! It's from Eclipse, btw. Oh, and that's my sister's foot over there! hehe =)
Those extra inches make for a sleeker silhouette, and ultimately the long-legged dream is achievable. Don't you like that?? hehe =)
So tell me ladies.. Which one of these (heels or flats) do you think is more preferable to you?
P/S: Mr. Blahnik says, "Shoes should be an investment, as we do spend all day on our feet. So why not add some class too! And you should go as high as you can!”
-both black patent leather shoes are from Bally.

The Little Black Shoes

Cantik kan?
I always wanted a decent black covered heels. Most of my heels are either manik2(too glam for day time wear), or peep toe(tak tutup jari jemari which is not suitable for formal wear) or maybe in between! (that is, not suitable for either formal or casual)..
So when I saw this shoes, my heart says, "Oh, this is the one! It's perfect!". I was so excited when I found it, because to be honest, I am a bit fussy when it comes to choosing my perfect LBS. hehe. Most of the covered black shoes that I saw, are always boring. It's either their heels are too chunky or too lowly and fugly or too trendy . I just want something simple yet sophisticated. Something that doesn't say "Look at me! I am pointy and shiny! Look at me!", and yet still look nice on me. hehe.
Oh, I still remember I had a hard time finding my school shoes back in 2006 when I first came to Matric PJ. Our dress code was to wear a white tudung, baju kurung in any color and a black shoes. I refused to wear the normal Jazz sneakers or maybe the Bonia loafers or something, you know. I mean, I just can't take the idea of wearing sneakers with baju kurung? I mean, in my opinion, I personally think that baju kurung is supposed to make you look decent and feminine. And so when you team it up with sneakers, it just looked so weird to me..
So I asked my mom to buy for me a 4-inch leather squared-off toe shoes by Lewre and Bonia. Well, something that looks like this. It was a simple one.
But I remembered, everybody was talking about my heels and make an issue out of it. Like it was a really big deal or something. I just don't understand. I mean, the rules and regulations doesn't say that I have to wear flats. They didn't even state there what kind of shoes that were allowed to wear. They just said black covered shoes. Nothing like students are not allowed to wear ballerinas, moccasins, sling backs, sandals, peep toes, open toes, gladiators, mules, pumps, platforms, wedges, pointy toes and et cetera, you know! Plus, we were 18 at that time..so I don't think that wearing pumps was weird for that age!
And by saying covered shoes, I understand that I can wear any kind of shoes that is high heels or not, as long as it is covered. Ain't that right? So when everybody was looking at the freakin' shoes of mine and you know, made that look, like I'm some kind of a freak.. I was like why? Do I look that weird? Was it because of the high heeled or because of the pointy toes? Why can't I wear this pumps?
I love the fact that heels lift me up a bit..and wearing them with baju kurung looks more nicer as compared to wearing them with sneakers! hehe.. =P
But well...after a few months in Matric, I can see lotsa girls started to change their choice of footwear for classes, and started wearing heels and pointy shoes.. hehe. Which is good. (At least, I know, I am not the only pointy toed species! haha)
=P
Anyways.. Now that my internship is just around the corner, I need some new working shoes. hehe. I want a decent black shoes. Just a simple one. Not too pointy. Not too round. So, my sugar sweet daddy bought for me that shoes. And I loved it!
Especially the heels!
Super high. And super hot.
=)
Thank You Dad!

S.

Shuzzy Shoes
I've always dream of opening a shoe store one day.. (or maybe just a shoe room in my own house would do just fine!)
Reason being, like any other woman, I have mutual love for shoes! They always make me happy.
Being in their presence, puts a smile on my face.. =)
..and so I thought, I wanna do what makes me happy; sell shoes!
High heel stilettos to be precised. ;)

My vision of my own store is a unique one. At least I think it's one of a kind..huhu.. ;p
I always imagine the store would be all white and maybe there's some pastel colors for the deco and then on the display shoes, would all be amazing hot striking colors of stilettos! hehe.. hot pink, mango tango orange, beet red, tangerine yellow, turqoise green or maybe a royal blue, and etc.
Then the color of the shoe box would according to the hue of the shoes in it. Like for example, if the color of the shoes were a dark magenta, then I would wrap them in a purple box.
and I imagine the sole for my shoes would be aquamarine.
Then people will start call me the Girl with the Aquamarine Soles. hehee. ;p
And in my imagination, I have like a "pedicure bar" and it's free with the purchase of a pair of shoes. Also, I'd give them my Shoe Book with the purchases above blablabla... =)
And have a shoe designer and a shoe doctor to come and talk about heels.. You know like, the pros and cons of wearing them. And then, I would serve my customers with sparkling juice or coffee/tea... and lotsa other things! (I can't tell u! It's a secret..hehehe).
I wanna make my store more than a place for transactions, but a place for learning and exchanges on fashion, shoe repair tips, etc. After all, I'm a customer too! hehe.
I have a deep passion for shoes and I want to share this passion with other women out there! and I’m basically trying to find out how to go about this the right way so that it become a reality one day, Insyaallah.
I hope this footwear business will be a dream come true ;)
