Sheikh Yusuf Estes is going to give a talk in Malaysia!!

I'm so excited! I wanna go!! hehe.




I've watched a few of his videos or da'wah on You Tube and his VCD by Islam Tomorrow.


And I really like him! He's funny and cute! ;)


He's like the cutest and the coolest Atok on earth! haha.. Oh, and he even got a Myspace! Can u believe it? I don't even have one! hehe

Just so you know, Sheikh Yusuf Estes is Internationally Renowned Speaker & Da’ie (former Christian Minister & Preacher)

And here's a little bit bout this ulama': Yusuf Estes PhD. (born 1944), is an American convert to Islam and Chairman of "the Muslim Foundation International", an Islamic Promotional and Missionary Organization dedicated to spreading the message of al-Islam according to the Quraan, Sunnah. He was brought up in a Protestant Christian family; members of the Disciples of Christ. Estes was known then as "Skip Estes".






Oh.. I want to go and listen to each and every one of it! But the only place I know is in KLCC..

The Stila Make-Up Case

I'VE RECEIVED MY STILA MAKE UP CASE!!

Inside the bag..

Remember in my previous post, I've mentioned that I really need a one last receipt in order to get this bag? Well..well.. Thanks to Miu, I managed to get this lovely make up case!
It's really nice of her to give me one of her receipts!


Fyi, her receipt was my ticket to get this make up case! God knows how thankful I am to have found her in this cyberspace! hehe ;)

It's not just about the receipts and the Stila make up case that I care so much.. But it's your act of kindness that really gets me, although we barely know each other! =)

Seriously, it is really amazing what the internet can do! =D

However, I did not quite like the RM800 worth of their cosmetic products. =(

SIMPLY BECAUSE...

First, they gave me all the old products.. (Manufacturing dates are mostly in 2005 and 2006?? Helloo.. It's nearly 2009 now!)

Second cuz all the stuffs and colors SUCK!! (Who would want to wear a Lip Glaze Stick in gold?! )

Thirdly bcuz I think the stuffs that they gave me, are not even worth RM800 like what they've promised! Now I am sooo jealous of you, Miu! U get to get loads and lotsa freebies! Iskk..

Here's the list of what I got:

1. Eye Shadow in Poppy-light blue (refill) = RM 55
2. Eye Shadow in Fever-pink (refill) = RM 55
3. Brow Set = RM 65
4. Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Cream = RM 120
5. Plumping Lip Glaze x 2 = RM 90 x 2 = RM180
6. Lip Glaze Stick = RM 90
7. Make Up Set Look No. 3 - The Red Carpet Looks = RM140 (Thee ONLY thing that I like!)


TOTAL?

RM 705! Where's another 95 bucks??

EEE. Penipuuu!


But..well..nevermind.
At least, I got the girly bag which I love so much! hehee ;)


And anyways.. As promised, I've sent Miu's gifts!








I gave her the Stila Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Cream (Rm120), Stila Eye Shadow in Fever-refill (Rm 55) and Stila Lip Glaze (Rm85). So the total is worth about Rm 260. And I gave her 2 Stila paperbags for her too! (She did mention that she wanted a Stila paperbag and had to beg at the SA for it! But she never got the bloody paperbag! Oh how kedekut they are! hehe..So now I'm giving her two different Stila paperbags! ;) hehe)
And I also gave her a cute notebook and purse-spray perfumes-Britney Spears Fantasy, Maria Sharapova and Paris Hilton Just Me..

The Coffee Klatch.

And so I went to the Tea & Cake party held at Anya Hindmarch Boutique in KLCC, today.


Well.. I gotta say, everything was fantastic! =)

The cakes, the chocolates, the macaroons, the beverages, the goodie bag, the setting of the place and stuff, the people, and of course, their bags!!


All fabulous! ;)


Oh, I love the way they play around with lotsa colours for the decoration on the cupcakes and for the macaroons! I was so excited the moment I saw all the colourful maracoons and how they presented them! It feels like Christmas already! hehee.

Normal and Inferior Good

It's coffee time.

And just now I was craving for my usual Iced Toffee Nut Latte from Starbucks. But I only had RM50 in my pocket.

So what are my choices? Still consume it to satisfy my craving though I know I'm on a tight budget? Or just drink lotsa plain water, to beet the sugar cravings of mine?

hmm..

Or perhaps I just switch to Nescafe. Thank God it has Latte! I looved latte,btw.
I don't like black coffee.. They're verry.. erm.. black.. And bitter!
(but I don't fancy Nescafe in cans that much actually..)


Or maybe I should just 'tipu' my mind a bit.. (cuz I want a Toffee Nut Latte so baddd! But I can't have it! Urgh.) =(


hmm...



So then just now, I decided to 'tipu' myself.. since I have a budget constraint. heh.. and so I went to 7 Eleven and bought 3 different cans of coffee.

2 from Nescafe (Latte and Original) and another one is from Dutch Lady (Vienna Coffee). These are my inferior goods! haha. Since they are those items I buy when price IS an object. heh.. Oppsy.. Economics pulak..haha ;p
(btw, to those of u who did not learn economics, err.. normal goods are those items you would buy if money were no object.) hehee ;p





So what did I do just now, to make me feel like I drink latte from Starbucks?



I poured 2 cans of latte into the Venti Tumbler and put some ice cubes.. hahaha ;p




I know that is sooo lame! huhuh ;p
But at least I'm more relaxed now.. (My mind thought I am drinking Starbucks latte! And suddenly I felt like this nescafe latte tastes so yummy. haha ;p ) Or was it because I mixed them up?

Hmm.. I think it's all about psychology baybeh.. hehe ;p



Note: Because Starbucks Coffee is a higher quality, more expensive type of coffee beans, it is considered a normal good, while Nescafe, in this instance, would be considered the inferior good.

hehehe ;p Now i'm teaching y'all economics subject eh? LOL. Well actually, I'm worrying like mad about my Economics paper!! haihh.. iskk =(

Psstt... My Prayer Has Been Answered!!

Yesterday, I had difficulties when I was packing my stuff, and also when I was trying on different outfits with my shoes and bags, for the trip that I'm going with my beloved friends, on this coming Wednesday.
I was trying to match my outfit and bag (and shoes!) for the places I'm going.

Seriously, I am verry bad at packing my stuff! Packing really is one of the worst things about vacations. I hate to have to choose on what to take and what to leave out. So I always end up taking everything inside my bag!



Fyi, this is the first time I'm going somewhere by train! And I am soo excited! hehe..
I have never experienced going for a looong journey with a train! That is why I am soo looking forward about it! hehe =D

I dunno what should I wear or what should I bring! I mean, of course I'd wear normally.. and casually for the train ride.. But somehow I just thought that going for a long journey by a train, might make me feel uncomfortable a lil' bit after a few boring hours sitting in the train..
So, I needed to wear something comfy and still looked okay. heh ;p

So I figured, a simple plain tshirt and jeans will do.
Or perhaps a sweatpants?
Cuz we are going at night time.. And I might sleep on the train..
hmm...
Nevermind I'll think about my bottom-part later..huhu


But the problem now is, I don't have a matching bag to go with my outfit! (and a proper sandal with no heel to be exact.hehe). Of course, I'm gonna need a bag right? To put my purse, handphones, ipod, tissues-wet & dry, some pads, mirror, lip balm and etc, right?? But I don't have one that looks just the right size and perfect and convenient for me as well.

I need a laid-back and casual looking bag to go with my simple tshirt. Plus, I'm going by a train. Not by flight. So I gotta make sure I looked alright for a train-riding look. haha. I mean, I don't wanna look silly, with my satchel handbag, sky-high heels, my wheelie pink ostrich-skin luggage, and with my straw hat in my hand, my makeup bag and etc, and then suddenly when I started entering the train, everyone else will stare at me weirdly like I'm some kind of an alien or rather bimbo. =P

So really.
I don't wanna wear my usual serious handbags. I need a much cooler bag, pleasee!


So there I was..

Thinking what should I bring and wishing that someone would give me a brand new spankin' bag that would look just fine with my tshirt (and the situation-train!). hehee ;p

And then after that.. Just when we (my family) were having our dinner..
The doorbell rang.


 *Twice*

So my lil' bro, Aizat went to open the door and guess what??!






He came in and brought up a big orange box and a purple paper bag in his hands!

Someone gave us this! As a Hari Raya gift! ^_^

The gifts were: a hamper, ties from Asprey and a bag from Hermès! Can you believed it?
An Hermès??!



And the best part is??


The Hermès bag, is a drawstring bag which would look just perfect, and casual & as simple as I want it to be!! *big smile plastered on my face* ;D







Oh, Thank You Lord! For answering my prayer!! hehee

So..now I'm just gonna find my sandals or flipflops at Juicy Couture or Vincci or FOS or just about anywhere in the world to complete the whole simple casual look..haha
