Wow, I'm not sure if anyone still reads this space since the author herself is missing for months now.. haha. But here is me writing again!
Sorry for the lack of updates! I know it has been like 4 months I've been away from this blog. I even got messages and emails asking me whether I'm doing okay or not. haha. - Cute! But I'm fine guys...it's just that I've been happily married and got no time to blog like last time. I loveeee spending time with my husband. He's my everything! (We're still on our honeymoon phase. Yes still! With him, everyday is a lovely day! hehe. So that explains why I don't spend as much time being online like last time, cuz I'd rather spend it with my amazing husband whenever we both are free! Heeee). And we were quite busy setting up our businesses last year which took a lot of my time too, so again...no time to blog! hehe
And now that I'm pregnant pulak, I got all these nausea, bloated stomach, tiredness and sleepiness most of the time. Sigh. So yeah, my pregnant body just couldn't be bothered to switch on my Macbook and start updating things with you guys. I feel like I owe too many stories on this blog, and that just made me even more slower to write about them here! LOL. Oh well...one step at a time la k. For now, Instagramis my mini diary. Anyways, I am now almost reaching 7 months pregnant! About 3 months to go, inshaallah. Wow...time flies so fast! I haven't even bought anything for my baby yet! I’ve been researching safety and reviews of baby products from cribs, to strollers to diapers to detergents almost since I’ve become pregnant. They're my new hobby!
My friends and family find it surprising that up until today, I haven’t bought a single thing for the baby. Well actually...I have. But just a couple of things la, like baby clothes and feeding equipment only, that I purchased justttttt recently! The rest like bathing care, beddings, travel gadgets and others are not in my shopping basket just yet! - My friend said it's surprising to know this because I'm usually the impulse shopper kind of girl. I just take and buy everything that caught my eye without even thinking sometimes! haha. But for my baby, I've been doing a lot of research online and watch reviews on YouTube, before I make the decision to purchase. I wanna make sure everything that I buy for the baby is safe and good!
We aren’t finding out the sex so most things I am buying are white, cream, yellow, orange, green, baby blue, grey or silver.

Although I haven't bought a lot of things for my baby yet, I did purchase quite a few pregnancy stuff for myself like lotions and oils to prevent stretch marks, pregnancy pillow, and a belly belt for my expanding tummy! I haven't bought a single pregnancy/maternity attire though. I'm left about 3 months away, and I could still fit in some of my regular clothes. - Cuz if I wear big blouses or jubah/abaya, people wouldn't think I am pregnant..because I don't look pregnant when I wear loose outfits, and they would think I just put on a lot of weight or I ate a large meal or something. haha. And I hate that, because being/looking pregnant is nice. People often treat you nice by giving you priority to ride the elevator first, or give you their seat or something! hehe. So yeah, I still wear my regular clothes just to look pregnant! ;p
Me and my 6 months belly!
Anyway...one thing I HATE about being pregnant the most is the itchy scalp, itchy belly, itchy boobies, and just itchy all over your skin/body! Everything is itchy and super dry!!! My scalp is flaky, my lips are super dry, my face is sensitive, my whole skin/body is dry, and my boobies & belly is stretching everyday! T__T
I hate it. Seriously. I feel like crap everydayyyyy!
I now understand what they mean when they say you're no longer look the sameonce you're a mom. I mean, the process of the body to change in becoming a mom is just......erm...horrifying for me - being the kind of girl who used to care about everything from hair to toe that is! Everything just doesn't seem and look like it used to be! And I'm not even a mom yet! tskkk. But I guess, once I see my baby, I wouldn't care so much about all these things. Plus, my husband keeps on telling me that he would still love me no matter how and what I look like, whenever I'm membebel-ing in front of the mirror. haha (That's sweet of you, but you know I still want to look nice for myself! hahah ;p)
Hmm...I cannot imagine the day I find out I have grey hairs! I must be screaming my lungs out! hahaha ;p

Anyways, here's what I used so far for my whole body:
1) For my dry hair/scalp I have been doing this treatment:
The hot oil treatment for hair and scalp!
In general, my hair is quite healthy. I don't have much problem with my hair. My husband loves my hair too. But ever since I got pregnant, my hair looked dry and flat, and my scalp is super flaky, it's horrible!! I didn't know what to do other than shampooing regularly. But while drug store hair care products contain enriching ingredients that keep your hair looking good, treating yourself to a hot oil treatment with either coconut oil or olive oil or hemp seed oil or jojoba oil, will add that extra healthy glow to your hair and scalp! These oils are a natural moisturizer and can help with dandruff and dry hair! I would do this hot oil treatment once a week! My flaky scalp is now diminishing and getting better! Thank god! ^__^
2) For my skin on my face:
I used the Laneige Water Bankseries every other day. I don't really used them everyday. Just the day I feel a little extra rajin. haha. I don't really put oil on my face anymore, because for some reason, doing so has made my skin irritated and itchy.
3) As for my lips:
I used Chu Lips lipbalm!
Chu Lip lipbalms are formulated with delicious blend of recipes as well as enhanced with moisturizing ingredients of Olive Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil and Rose Hip Oil for happy and healthy lips! ‘Chu’ means kiss in Japanese, by the way.

Earth Mama Angel Baby products!
And some other oils and body butter like L'Occitane Almond Oil, Palmer's Cocoa Butter skin therapy oil, Lifeflo Pure Coconut Oil, and L'Occitane Shea Butter.
Yes. I know, I have a lot of oils and lotions. I like to switch them up. Many will say that stretch marks is genetics, and while I agree with that, I do still think that it is important to use lotions and keep your skin moisturized and that it does help in preventing dry itchy skin, and possibly stretch marks as well. I used different oils or butters every day. And I have been using them religiously every night & day, since the day I found out that I got pregnant. So far I don't have anything yet on my belly. They say it would only appear during the last trimester or month. But I got a friend who has stretch marks at only 6 months preggy. So it's better to be prepared, right?
Anyways, I also did my own homemade body butter. My friend did this and she has amazing and beautiful skin!
Using all natural and raw butters!
I used pure coconut oil, olive oil, raw mango butter, cocoa butter, aloe butter, and shea butter for this recipe. I added everything into a pot on my stove and heated it up until they all became oil. Then I poured the mix into a container and popped it in the fridge. When cold the natural butter will harden but when warm it becomes soft and sometimes even back into an oil form.
I have a few extra jars left over and I'm planning to give some away to my friends who are expecting as well.

So I've learned that being irresistible or notice by the husband (or men in general) is all about accentuating every one of your strengths. Whether they're mental (good sense of humor, great personality, smart, etc), physical (attractive face/body, wears pretty clothes, good hygiene, etc), emotional, or....just something that he can detect right off the bat with his nose! - That is smelling your scent, sweetie! I'm sure any woman can do that, no?
Well at least that's what I've learned in my 4 months of marriage so far! I'd get his attention right away when I smell good! hehe. My man really loves it when I spray some cologne, or just done washing my hair with my favourite bubble gum scented shampoo or even light up a lavender scented candle in our room. Scent can really magically set his mood!
If we're at home and I was just done with the laundry, I notice he would hug me more, compliment me more, sniff my neck, my ears, my hair, my hands...and just want to be near me! Oh, I love it when I get his attention! hehe ;)
I don't know about other women, but isn't it such a nice feeling when your husband get hooked on you and your scent? I feel appreciated and loved and adored! Ooh la laa! ^___^ I love wearing a light, soft feminine scent in general. Some days I do wear sensual/elegant kind of scent though. And some days I'd wear fruity/floral scent too. Glad my husband appreciates them all!

Well men in general is just not that sensitive to the way we look, but rather sensitive to the way we smell! 72% of women shared the same results with me, according to the poll I took last time! Who doesn't love scented candles?! I know I do! I wear perfume just about everyday because for me it is one of life's little pleasures to smell good and yummy. There's just something about sniffing something that smells good, don't you think? I love making my room smell nice too!
I opened one of my Diptyque products a couple of days ago. It was this scented candle called Jasmine. Really excited to try it, together with the massage Satin Oil! They've been in the box for 4 months now. They're one of my hantaran gifts from my husband. We exchanged Diptyque products on our wedding as one of the "bath & body" hantaran tray. Well, honestly....we did not really "exchanged" them! They're all mine anyways! haha. What's mine is mine, what's yours is mine too! Ever heard of that phrase? ;p Cuz you know, all these bath and body stuff just don't work for my man. He knew when he bought them last time, they're gonna be mine anyways! So he let me chose whatever I want to put in that tray for him - They're scented candles, cupboard soap, roll-on perfume, bar soap and hand lotion. LOL. Obviously those aren't for him! hahaha. So he gave everything to me! Ahhh..such a good husband I have! Thank you for giving me "your" gifts sweetie! haha.

My goshhhhh. I've never been so happy going to bed before! I swear, the scent just gives you this one kind of serene feeling! Like you're in a really happy place! It changed my mood tremendously! I felt so relax...and comfortable and happy! It's amazing how scent can trigger and influence the mood!
I know the lavender scent is for relaxing, but I never quite know that jasmine is also used to calm the nerves too! Now I never wanna sleep without burning my jasmine scented candle! hehe.

Some scented candles can smell differently when they are burning, but Diptyque candles are very true to the scent of the wax! So you just have to imagine your room filled with the same fragrance as you take a whiff in the glass jars when you're shopping for some candles at their boutique..
I burn it all night long, from 10 pm till 8 am! It just smells amazingggggg!!! I swear! Even after 10 minutes of burning, your room will be filled with a pure aroma that won't get up your nose or make you sneeze, but definitely won't go unnoticed either! And surprisingly, after a few hours of putting out the candle, my room still subtly filled with the aroma! I'm in love! ^___^
I woke up with a very happy mood on my face! I even got happy dreams, 3 days in a row! I rarely have dreams in my life.. But 3 nights of dreaming happy dreams?! Wow. Now I really believe when they say, scent can really change your mood and intensify the ambiance! The nose just knows what works for you! Ooh la laaa.... I love good quality candles! You're definitely going to be on my "things I can't live without" list, cuz you gave me such happy dreams! haha
So anyway, I've been burning my Diptyque candles ever since that night... My husband knows how much I appreciate bath & body stuff...and really love anything that smells amazing. So the other day, he gave me this beautiful set from Jo Malone, another designer kind of perfumer brand, for our 4-month anniversary gift.

Jo Malone was one of the brands I tried before buying our wedding hantaran gifts last time. Actually, I wanted to buy products from Jo Malone as well, for our "bath & body" hantaran tray. But after much consideration, I think Diptyque has more body products compared to Jo Malone, which is why I chose and bought Diptyque products for both our hantaran trays. (We'll talk about the wedding hantaran later yeah. I know many of you have been asking me to blog about it!) - I refused to buy one tray of Jo Malone products, and another tray of Diptyque products because I love to "synchronize" our wedding hantaran gifts! I think it's cute. hehe. But when I found out that Diptyque has more variety of products, I decided to buy Diptyque products for each him and her tray. So bye-bye Jo Malone. Sad.
But I guess my husband just knows me well, he knew I would like to have some of Jo Malone products when we went there last time. So two weeks ago, he gave me these two bottles of Jo Malone fragrance called Blackberry & Bay, and Peony & Blush Suede perfume, and a limited edition scented candle in a beautiful classy packaging - knowing that I was so hard to decide between Jo Malone & Diptyque products, when we were shopping for our hantaran last November! haha. So thank you hubba, for this lovely gift!
I love them! They smell beautiful! I can't wait to use them! Somehow I feel like Jo Malone candles smell better than Diptyque! But I don't know, we'll see about that! Can't wait to burn it! ;)

Honestly, when you find a fragrance that you fall in love with, it's hard not to become obsessed with burning it every day! Considering the wide choice of scents that are available in the market, I think there will be something for everyone at the store! But then your only problem would be maintaining what can turn into a very expensive habit! - Once you are used to your room smelling divine, it's hard to turn back! Oh noo!
Recently I went to Singapore again for work..so when I get the chance to be in that land, of course I wouldn't want to miss the chance to drop by the one and only Lush store in South East Asia to stock up my Lushies! hehe.. Plus, my sister did ask me to purchase some products for her.. She loved Lush as well!! (I bet, any "normal" girl would! hehe)

Ok here goes!! (I'm excited already just by writing thisss! haha - So can you imagine just how overwhelmed I am, every time I enter the Lush store? haha ;p *forgive me for being so lame!* )
This is Ocean Salt! - A cleansing lime, coconut and sea salt scrub.
Ocean Salt is like taking your face on a trip to the seaside for an invigorating splash in the water, then cleansing and refreshing it with lemon, grapefruit and lime juices.
Fresh avocado moisturizes and softens the skin, while violet leaf absolute calms and nurtures. Use this on oily skin every day and use it to refresh dry skin once a week.
Suitable for all skin types: Ocean Salt is most beneficial for combination to oily skin. This is Lush most exfoliating cleanser as Ocean Salt contains a combination of coarse and fine sea salt.
For an invigorating scrub: Salt and citrus oils can cause irritation for sensitive skin types. So if you’re quite sensitive, we suggest using a gentler product.
I personally love love loveeee this scrub! It smells great..I love the citrus smell! And it made my skin sooo soft after usage! I really felt a difference after using this scrub! And my face felt so unbelievably soft and squeaky clean!! However, the big rock salts did hurt my face a bit..sobss - It's a pretty abrasive scrub, as the salt granules are quite big, so you have to rub gently and be careful around your acne and definitely needs a moisturizer after! I can't get enough of using it, it's so nice to use this scrub! Love it!!

This is Grease Lightning pimple treatment gel!!
Grease Lightning dries up spots and makes them disappear, not quite at the speed of light, but pretty quickly. We all quickly dab on a bit of transparent gel at the first feeling of impending spottiness. You can feel the toning witch hazel working at once.
It’s for people with seriously bad skin, too; we make it with really beautiful natural ingredients so you can use it all the time. A bacterial-killing thyme, rosemary and tea tree infusion helps to cleanse the microbes that cause spots. Aloe vera, grape juice and lavender soothe your skin to help prevent spots forming. Use it day and night for better skin.
Oh my God. This product is really reallllllyyyy effective pimple treatment! It's great for those pimple that is inside your skin..and still so shy to come out! haha. You knoww..those pimples that don't come to a head and lingers in size and redness?! Ughhh. I hate them. I have a lot of those last time. (I still have it sometimes. tskkk). This kind of pimple means, there's a pus beneath the skin, and it usually won't come to a head until you get to it by using a needle to pop it! But using this product could make the head come out by itself eventually! That's why I loved it!!!
Anyway, this product brings down pimple size significantly overnight and it doesn't dry out the skin at all like some other pimple treatment gel/cream would! So I highly recommend this! - Although, this product did actually make my face has a lot of pimple coming out right now, as a result of me using this product all over my face TOO MUCH, instead of just on MY SPOTS!! haha - Because since the product is great for making the pimple that is inside your skin to come out, so most of the potential zit/soon-to-be pimple on my face that I don't even know they're inside there, are all coming out now! isssh. So sad.. Can't wait for all of them to go away now..then I'll have a super clean face..with no pus living beneath my skin! hehe
Oh ya.. I found the pump is a bit difficult to use though.. cuz it's dispensing way too much product for a spots-only treatment - That is the reason why I always use the extra product that I've pumped, on the other parts/rest of my skin....(and now, they're becoming a little zit, waiting to die/dry. Pffft =___=' )
Conclusion is: I love it.. But won't use it on the other part of my skin that doesn't seem like a pimple anymore! So it won't make the soon-to-be pimple on my face that I-don't-even-know-that-they're-there, coming out so fast when it's not their time yet! hahaha. ;p
I'm definitely a fan, and would repurchase!
The Tea Tree Water toner!

This mask visibly reduces redness or inflammation from breakouts. It has a weird smell though. Garlic + tea tree, which kinda bothers me a bit when applying it for the first few minutes. But after 5 minutes or so, I kinda get used to the smell already, so....it's ok I guess? But the only problem that I don't like with the Fresh Face Mask from Lush is that, they expire quite fast, so you need to make sure to use them all up before their expiration date! This is a solid deodorant bar called Aromaco

Oh I loved this!!! I did not have a body odor at all when using thissss! It's such a great product..and I should have bought this earlier so I can feature it in my sweat stain post that I blogged about the other day! hehe.. This is a very effective deodorant for me. This deodorant is not miraculous cuz it did not stop me sweating (it is not an anti-perspirant product) but it strongly neutralises the odors. So it's great enough for me! No wonder it is the best selling Lush solid deodorant bar, because it really is a great product! The product includes thyme and rosemary which smell really strong when you put the deodorant on, (I kinda like the scent! But for some reason, most people don't?) but this smell would disappear while the deodorant does its work. The only downside about this deodorant is that it doesn't come in a handy packaging. So this makes it not so practical! Especially when getting ready in the morning, where you gotta wash your hands again after applying this deodorant before applying your skin care/make up or do your hair or something... =/
I recommend you to use this product as your last step when getting ready in the morning..if you're so lazy to go to the bathroom and wash your self/hands again..hehe. And also, I recommend you to cut it into smaller pieces and put it in a cute small container..so you can bring it for traveling or put in your handbag in case you need to "top up" your underarm area with some deodorant in the middle of the day! (although I think you won't be needing one unless you're a skunk who stings so bad. hehe ;p )
I don't know much about this. you can ask my sister about this, as this was hers. I remember that she did mention that this cream is great! She felt the effect instantly or something like that... Not too sure! hehe (Maybe you could write your review in the comment box, Ah-Long? hehe)

This is the first lotion that I've tried from Lush and I was skeptical at first whether or not to purchase this during my third and fourth time visiting the Lush store, because of the price (it's quite expensive). So I only tried this cream on my hand (during my fourth visit), but later, finding myself regretting for not buying it bcuz it smells so goood! I love the scent verrrry much!! It's unlike any other perfume or lotion I've tried before. The scent is unique! It smells like a combination of citrus and incense. So the next time I went to the Lush store, which was the fifth time by the way, this was the first thing that I took from their rack! hihi.. And now, I'm using it every other night before bed.. Initially, I probably wouldn't have thought of repurchasing this cream due to the price but now, I am seriously addicted to the scent! haha

This is definitely the best clarifying shampoo I have ever tried and it does miraculous things to my hair. My hair looked pretty and felt pretty! It smells lovely too! At first, I didn't think I needed another shampoo...my current shampoo is fine with me, but because of the nice scent..and also, because this is quite a different shampoo from all the shampoos that I have - with it's bits and chunks of salts in it, so I thought I'd give it a go. And well...now I'm hooked! The texture is funny though - unlike the usual shampoos' texture (because of the big chunks of salts in it!), but it smells gorgeously amazing of coconut oil and citrusy lemony scent, and I love it! I usually take a small amount and add plenty of water to lather it in my hand, and I'll make sure my hair is very wet to begin swirling. This lathers so well, and I feel fabulous while doing so! haha. After it is dry, my hair is light, and looking somewhat voluminous! However, I wouldn't use it everyday unless you've got very oily hair cuz if you use it too often, it will dry out your hair, and making it kinda static. I only use this 2-3 times a week. - Yes, this tub is quite expensive, but you only really gonna need a small bit at each shampoo...and I think my Big shampoo will last for quite awhile. :)
This is the Veganese hair conditioner
Vegans and fine haired folks around the world rejoice! Veganese is our lightest, conditioner that takes hair without volume and makes it go va-va-VOOM! The majority of Lush products are vegan, but making a vegan conditioner without lanolin took us a few years to perfect. It was worth the wait. We use agar seaweed gel as a natural hair softener instead of lanolin, and blend in generous helpings of lemon oil to create the perfect vegan conditioner to leave you with tons of gloss and shine. We also added in the scalp soothing effects of lavender and rosemary to keep you sorted on top.
Our lightest conditioner is suited for fine, limp hair and conditions without weighing it down.

This is a scalp treatment bar called Snake Oil - for relieving sore, irritated scalps
Dandruff, dry scalps and sore, irritated heads will soon be a thing of the past. If you’re suffering give your scalp a good run down with Snake Oil. Melt it into your fingertips and massage it right into your scalp. Lavender, tea tree and peppermint essential oils kill offensive dandruff-causing microbes and soothe burning and redness. The cocoa butter base softens and moisturizes the scalp to reduce that terrible itchy feeling. Ok, first things first... I HATE the smell! This bar has a really strong smell, very herbal and medicinal, and it can be unpleasant if you're the kind that is sensitive to smells. - I think the real snake smells better than this! hahah.. But then again, the product worked!!! And I love it, so it doesn't matter if it's stinks! This bar does help me a lot with my itchy and flaky, dandruff scalp! This is what I would use now in a flakey scalp crisis! I'd leave it overnight after massaging it on my hair, and then the next morning, I would wash it using my Lush's bar shampoo called Ultimate Shine. This two products gives me amazing result!! I have shiny, bouncy and healthy hair! No more flaky scalp! Thanks Lush!!

This is my most favourite of all the Lush shampoos. This doesn't dry out my hair at all! And it says there that it contains violet leaf to decongest the scalp and it really seems to work!!! No flakeyness whatsoever!! I really liked this. It made my hair really shiny and it smells good too! Just like their other solid shampoos, the only bad thing about buying this kind of shampoo is that you have to buy that little tin containers to store it in because without it, the soap doesn't last as long. Oh, and I also find that this shampoo adds a little volume to my hair too, which is always a good thing!

This product is absolutely gorgeous. It smelled divine!! - a really rich honey/toffee/caramel scent! Sounds sweet, no? Well it lathers up really easily too, and is incredibly moisturising - my skin feels silky smooth when I get out of the shower, which is so nice when I don't feel like applying moisturizer! The scent lingers very subtly on my skin, but it is awesomer when used for hair, I think? All in all, this is a lovely, indulgent shower gel that makes taking a shower an wonderfully aromatic experience!!

This is the body scrub + body butter that is called Buffy
This is the original slayer tough on rough bottoms. Massage our Buffy body butter all over your wet skin in the bath or shower to make you softer and smooth to the touch, paying special attention to your backside. We add ground rice, almonds and beans to Buffy to act as exfoliants; the rough textures eliminate lumps and bumps and sloughs away dry skin cells to reveal brighter, fresher looking skin. I have tried theirAqua Mirabilis last time, and was SO in love with it that I just had to try their other range of body butter scrubs. So I purchased this Buffy! The Aqua Mirabilis smells soooo good, and made my skin so beautifully soft!! So I guess this Buffy is kind of do the same job like Aqua Mirabilis did to my skin - it softens and exfoliates the skin and also leaving skin super soft! Anyway, Buffy is a "heavier" version of Aqua Mirabilis as the scrub is much harder/harsher on the skin.. So I guess it's good for exfoliating really really rough and tough skin! (The SA told me that this stuff is good especially for bottoms and thighs, where they're the tougher skin on the body..while Aqua Mirabilis is great for the other parts of the body).

....but it's kind of over-flowing now, since I've purchased quite a few of them. hihi. ;p
These are just for temporary use because my bathroom now is quite small and I don't have a proper storing space for bath products at the moment. But they will have their own drawer, later on when I get the new, bigger bathroom.
