Hijabista!

I love fashion, but I gotta say...I'm not one of those girls who love experimenting with my everyday hijab style, unless 10 people have approved it! haha. Being someone who really love fashion and style, I always wanted to do so actually, but I never have the guts to wear it outside of my room simply cuz I'm not that confident with my face shape! I know I got a big jawline, thanks to daddy's gene! LOL... So a tiny bit wrong step, can make me look soooo wrong and a fashion disaster, instead of a fashion statement, I thought?! hehe... So that's why you always see me in the same style of hijab most of the time. - Better to play safe, I think? But honestly...I would LOVE to doll up everyday with different hijab style and still look fresh and fabulous!

So now that Sunsilk is running a contest on their Facebook page called Hijabku Gayaku, - they're seeking for 10 hijab models and 10 talented fashion designers for the contest, I kinda feel like I wanna join this one! Who knows...I might pick up my very own hijab style while I am in this contest, right?? :) - These 10 models and 10 designers will showcase themselves on the runway of Islamic Fashion Festival (IFF) end of this year!

So let's start practicing wrapping my scarf! And BE CONFIDENT, most importantly! ^__^

Turning Four!

Hey girls!

It's August again...which means, it's the anniversary of my blog again! (Actually my blogniversary is supposed to be in March, but for some reason, every year I do it around this month. haha)

So this year..my blog turns FOUR! Some say that's kinda long...but some find it quite brief in duration, as compared to those power bloggers who have been blogging for 10 years or so.. Oh well, if you ask me, I think four is quite a number, cuz that's like the same age as my niece! - And she can talk now! haha. ;p

Anyways I can't believe it has been four years already since I started blogging - That's four years of documented stories and moments in my life in here. Every now and then, when I don't have the mood to blog but I have my free time, I would always look back at my old entries, reading back the good old days of mine, and thinking how time flies! But I'm so glad I have them documented in here! Cuz I can show it to my daughter (or maybe son! hehe) about her mommy's life! hehe :)

Anyway, so within this four years of blogging, I get a lot of experiences and opportunities.. Like meeting lotsa nice & cool people, getting invites and advertorials, did reviews, got sponsored trips and events, etc, and lotsa other things! My blog is my baby now..although I rarely update it every day these days, but this blog is my sweetheart and will always be, thanks to you guys for supporting it throughout the years! Without my readers and followers, I don't think I would be this passionate about my blog and have the passion or rather  "semangat" to update my blog every week..hehe

Are You Moist Enough?

Hello pretty ladies!

I have a question for you! Which part of your body that you think is the most ignored part? As for me, the most abused and abandoned part of my body would be my feet! Awwww…poor them! =(

Well, since I use my feet to walk and drag them here and there, up and down everyday, and when that’s not enough, I even force them into my 5-inch high heels some more, thus I think my feet really do need to be taken extra care!

So yeah, pampering my feet is a must for me, every week! But I don’t just soak them into some warm water, just to make it moist! That would not do the trick!

So what is??

Well..after I have done with my pedicure and my DIY foot spa at home, I do slather some lotions and potions on them every now and then, just to make sure that they are being treated fairly and with tender, loving care just like the other parts of my body.. And most importantly, to make sure that my feet are moist enough throughout the day!

Because to me, it is really important to have those soft, smooth, supple feet.. Cuz I believe that if a woman takes care of her feet (which is the most ignored parts of the body), that means, she really knows how to take care of the other parts of her body, right?! And since I am living in an air conditioned room almost 24/7, I gotta make sure that my skin is getting enough moisture! So every night before my bedtime, I would slather some of my Vaseline products (my favourite one is the Intensive Rescue Moisture Locking Lotion) onto my feet to keep them moisturized all night! =)

WATCH TOY STORY 3 AT TGV & STAND TO WIN A LIFE-SIZED LOTS-O-HUGGIN’ BEAR WORTH RM800!

 Have you watch the new movie from Disney’s Pixar, Toy Story 3? I have! Just yesterday! There are a lot of new characters! Such as Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear, Ken, The Baby, Bonnie and so on! Oh..and Andy has grown up, you know! He’s 17 and handsome and he is going to college already! I used to watch the VCDs all day long, after school! I just loved that movie! Watching Andy going to college now, reminds me of myself.. I mean, I watched Toy Story 1 and 2 while I was so little.. (that was when I was still in my primary school!)..and now, I have graduated and Andy’s has grown up too! He’s going to college! And that made me realized, oh..I’ve grown up too! Sigh..how time flies! =(

Anyways.. The movie really really reminds me of myself cuz when I was little, I too just like Andy, have lotsa toys (Barbie especially!)..and when I grow up..all those toys were given to other people, to small kids, to orphanage and etc.. That’s what Toy Story 3 is all about! – It focuses on these toys dealing with a situation in which their cherished owner, Andy is preparing to depart for college. So as Andy prepares to depart for his college, Buzz, Woody and the rest of his loyal toys are troubled about their uncertain future. The toys were kinda disappointed that Andy doesn’t want to play with them anymore. So they sneak into a box to be donated to Sunnyside Daycare and over there, they met some other toys and receive a warm welcome from the toys at Sunnyside, led by Lotso the cuddly, plush, warm and fuzzy called "Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear"… I won’t continue on the stories..you have to watch it for yourself ok!

But my most fave part is the toys accidentally reset Buzz to his Spanish mode! It was so funny hearing Buzz speaking in Spanish! =)
(I always find it Spanish language is somewhat sexy! Hehe)

How do I get LOTS-O’-HUGGIN BEAR?

All you need to do is collect two Toy Story 3 movie ticket stubs to be eligible for one contest form.
