School was Cool! :)

Hello there... My name is Shazwani, and you're about to read a lil' history of my life.. ;p
(Not that it is so interesting or anything.. But I just thought since it's a blog/journal that I would want to keep until I'm old.. So I figured I wanted to post some memories in here..so my grandchild would know how awesome her nanny is! LOL. Yeahh right ;p)

Mind you, this would probably be my longest entry that I write so far.. Or probably the longest entry any blogger would write! Pffftt. Yeah right.. ;p
But anyway, this is an entry on a 20 years' story, of my life! So of course, it's gonna be long! ;p
(Well..if you find it boring, and too long, you can just leave the page. I won't mind. hehee)

So now... let see, the  woman  young lady I became today..hehe  ^_~

Just For Memories Sake..

Hey guys..

I know it has been about 2 months since my convocation day. But I just received all of my photos from Mr. Awang Buncit and my studio photos from the photo shop near my house...

Hence, now only I get to upload them here.  - Just for memories sake.. (just in case the CD went missing or in case my laptop dies on me again! So here's a back up for me! hehe)

Enjoy the photos..

I'm Officially an IIUM Graduate!

Yeayyy! I'm officially an IIUM graduate! Weeehoo! No longer a student eh? Cool or not cool? Hmm..cool in some ways, I think! And not cool because I feel old! heh ;p (Oh well, we'll see..maybe if I have a heart to further my studies again, then I can get back that title! Hee..)

Geeshhh.. 4 years have gone by, in a blink of an eye! It was so fast! I still remember the very first day when I stepped into IIUM..and thought like.. It's gonna take me forever to get my degree! But look, where I am nowww.. I'm already a graduate. 4 years isn't that long actually! Goshh.. how time flies! =(

Anyway.. I don't really have a mood to update about this convocation ceremony just yet..so, some pictures will do, okay?

With my parents

..with our daddies

These are my friends! I met such wonderful people along the way...

Hoorayy!! We're officially have graduated from UIA!

Credits to Mr. Awang Buncit for these pics (and still waiting for more! Non, I love your work! Thanks dude!)

And I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents, lecturers, family and friends who have supported me throughout my journey here in IIUM. I know that without your supports, teachings, prayers and doa, I wouldn't be here..

And special thanks to my parents... Abah, mama, thank you so much for everything.. For giving me education since I was a little girl until I have graduated from a university. Thank you so much for e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.. And I mean, EVERYTHING.. - the books, the tuition fees, the stationaries and what every student and every girl needs, the car, my duit makan, the pocket money, the shopping allowance, handphones, the shoes, the bags, the laptops, the time that you've spent to send me back and forth to my hostel, the bajus, and the list goes on and on.. Seriously, I can never thank you enough.. =(
And I'm grateful to have you guys as my parents. So, thank you so much! I know even in a million years, I can never repay 100% like all the things that you did and sacrificed for me, for the past 21 years.  ;p

Anyway.. I thought I wouldn't be writing so much..but here I am blabbing all by myself..hehee..  Okay lah, gotta continue about my graduation in the next post (still waiting for some pics from Mr. Zainul Fikri)..

Alright, till then... Bubbye!

P/S: CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!!! =D

XOXO,
Shazwani Hamid.

Tomorrow is The Day!

Well..after been studying in IIUM for a whole 5 freaking years..tomorrow is the day to celebrate it! hehe. It's my convocation ceremony y'all! =)

Oh well.. I don't really feel excited and happy actually.. haha. Pelik gila! Orang lain semua excited..aku je tak. Takde la rasa tak happy. tapi takde jugak rasa happy.. Dia rasa biasa je.. Macam takde perasaan..heeee ;p

Well..I think it's because first, I have studied in UIA for far too long (1 year Matric in PJ, and 4 years degree in Gombak), that I don't really feel the excitement of graduating nowww.. Yelah, lama sangat kotttt! Dah basi dahh..hahaha.. ;p
Sebab dari dulu tak sabar sangat nak keluar from UIA...but now when the time comes, dah takde perasaan sangat sebab..Perasaan tu dah luput dah..haha

Hmm..oh well, secondly, it could also be because of the robe, I think! haha Look at the color! Blearghhh. What is thattt? Blue? Green? Turquoise? Hulk? I want black robe! Baru la nampak professional! heee. Okay Wani. Jangan gedix pleaseeee ;p (Dah la tak matching with my hot pink Kurung Modern from Jedan tuu. tskkk.
And thirdly because, I simply don't really like studying there.. (I realized that since Matric actually..but too afraid to speak up and tell daddy and mommy. Oh well, nevermind. Dah habis belajar dah pun.. And actually, UIA wasn't too bad after all. It's just me.... - Mengada sangat. haha ;p
But I also glad, that by studying in UIA, I have found my soul sisters, Nazirah Ishak. Love you mucho!)

Anyways.. I'm gonna say it now.. (I don't want you to think that I'm a freak for hating my own convocation day or whateverr..hehe..) Well... yes, I AM happy to have finally graduated from IIUM (Woohoo!)..
But this kinda thing would also make me feel like, Oh God...this is it..

This is the starting point of my life.

I'm an adult now. Geeeshhh.. Even the thought of it makes me sick. I hate to be a grown up.. =S
I have to be on my own noww.. I have responsibilities. Commitments. Bills to pay and stuff.. Work, work and workkk like a dog! Heeeeekkkk... Tak best nya dah besar!!! =(

Ok dah. Tu je nak bagitahu..

P/s: Hmm...I wonder will I get any flowers from anyone, tomorrow? Saya suka Calla Lilies and Daisy Gerbera. bagi la saya, bagi laaaa.. Anyone?? haha. Banyak pulak cekadak dia. Bunga Raya sudahhhh..hehe ;p

What a Productive Day!!

Phewww. I am sooo dead tired now! But I still can't sleep. I'm such in a good mood! Don't know whyy. Hence, I do not want to waste this mood and not updating anything in here..hehe (Cuz I know...you guys already miss me kan? heee ;p)

So here's what I did today! =)

12. 00 - 3.00 am: Doing a little thinking..

3.30 am: Started to fall asleep..

4.45 am: Got up, helped mom preparing for Sahoor

4.55 am: Because I looked terribly awful and was looking like a zombie, mom asked me to go upstairs and sleep! (Thank you mom! Heeee ;p)

5.00 am till 7.00 am: Sleep soundly

7.00 am till 8.15 am: Getting ready and get dressed

8.30 am till 9.15 am: Driving to Uptown Damansara

(Muka budak budak tak cukup tidur. Yang sebelah kiri tu muka budak baru lepas nangis. haha ;p)
I'm with my BFF, Naz tagging along. Just so you know, this Naz can be really really super cute sometimes, when she had or wanted to follow me to these kinda things or events or whatsoever.. And she would then proudly called herself my P.A! How comel is that? I banyak kali marah dia jangan panggil diri sendiri macam tu, tapi dia nak jugak! She said, she would love love love to work for me! hahahah! She always say to me this phrase, "Wani..kau kalau dah jadi boss nanti, or dah ada company sendiri ke apa, kau amik aku jadi P.A kau tauu. Jangan lupa tauuu. Aku suka jadi P.A kau! Best lah jadi P.A kau. Kerja dengan kau best.."! Hahahaha! Funny lah youuu ni Naz! Cita cita tinggi sungguh, ye? hehee. JK ;p

9.25 am: Arrived!

About 10-ish: Everyone has arrived (except for Vivy - the gorgeous blogger everrr).. And the meeting and briefing already started. (Won't tell you what it is for, just yet!) At first, I was a bit nervous because according to what I've been told before, I have to do this and that.. So..macam agak sedikit gelabah (typical me).. But then it turned out to be quite fun actually! And everyone is very friendly! ;)
(Ohh..and I met my reader too! Hye Diana! *waving at you!* It was really nice to meet you this morning!! And yes my dear, you have such glowing and beautiful skin! I'm so jealous! hehe)

Shazwani was listening carefully..

11.30 am: About 11 something, the thing in the office has ended and I was heading to my campus in Gombak pulak.. to settle a few things before the Convocation Day (Awakkk, sila datang ye! haha) ;p

Budak tak puasa, was having Subway for her sahoor at 11.45 am dengan selambanyaa, ketika dalam perjalanan menuju ke menara gading. Heee ;p

12.00 pm: Arrived UIA. I forgot that apparently, today is Friday, and all offices around here dah tutup. So, we can't do what we came here to do.. And we can't really do anything about it.. So, we called up our ex-roomate, Khairun, to lepak in her room until 2.30..

Ini adalah Mahallah Nusaibah. Saya bukan lagi budak asrama. Yeayy! hehe ;p

Lepak bilik Khairun.. Sampai tertidur dan termimpi something which I really can't forget. The view is just so awful. haha. (Naz...that mimpi that I told you in detail is between me and you jer, ye?! hahaha) ;p

2.45 pm: Started doing what I had to do.. Was really tiring to go up and down..here and there.. And I fell off stairs some moreee.. Haiyaa.. 'Lucky' me, I have errr.. quite. Eh no, not quite. I mean a really huge bum, so it wasn't that ouch! hehee ;p

Walking to the new Azman Hashim Complex, to go to the bank, and settle some stuff..

Paid my fees and my accumulated compounds! 6 compounds from my previous semesters! 3 semesters altogether! Yeesshh! Well, nevermind..sedekah to UIA lah..  Siapa suruh, suka sangat break the rules.. heeee >_<

4.00 pm: Office closed. But I managed to settle almost everything except for 2 departments more to go.  So, gotta come here again soon.

4.30 pm: From Gombak, heading back to Naz's place to send her home and to have dinner at her house

6.00 pm:  Arrived Puchong area..and stopped at Bazaar Ramadan to buy ourselves some foodies!

Bazaar Ramadan in Naz's housing area..

I think I saw something... Something that caught my eyes..

It was this. Some weird name for a drink.  Katira JB? What drink is thatttt? And who the heck is Katira?? How does it taste like? It's my first time seeing it! (Well..actually, my eyes saw the word JB first, not the drink. hahaha ;p *wink*)

Anyway, next..we walked along the bazaar to see..what food do they have, to offer us.. Though I wasn't fasting, but my desire mengalahkan orang yang berpuasa.. Naz sabar je lah agaknyee..heee. Semua air I nak! Cendol, Bandung, Soya, Tebu, Kelapa, etc..haha. Sebab yelah, when I'm with Naz, my mouth won't stop talking. So, perlu la minum banyak air, kan! heee

Oh! And this!! haha. Well..we passed by these guys' stall.. They saw Naz was holding a camera and snapping some pictures..  So they called Naz, and asked for a picture of them, and then...

After that.. After their picture has taken, we walked away from their stall..but they called us back, to give some free things..

They gave me some Air Jagung! Yes, for free! Wahh.. murah rejeki saya! hehee. They thought we are the media people! Wahahaaa.. Very funny! They asked Naz, "Ni..daripada majalah mana ni?".. And Naz spontaneously answered, "Kitorang dari majalah sekolah!". hahaha =)

Dah dapat Air Jagung, but this tamak little person inside me just can't stand to see those pink Bandung drinks.. And I just had to have it!

So this is the girl who always call herself my Personal Assistant or sometimes my mother. haha. (I love you Naz. Always!)

Kuih Pelita something something.. I dunno the name.. Not so sure. Too malas to google now. Heee ;p

Yeayy! Just gone back from shopping!! (Oh, and look.. there's another cup of Soy drink in that plastic bag! That one is for me to drink in the car! hahahaha. Tamak haloba sungguh!) ;p

Our catch of the day! Naz belanja! Terima kasih Nazirah! Sayang awakk kuat kuat! ;)

6. 30 pm - 7. 30 pm: Sleep on Naz's comfy couch. I was really really tired driving here and there, all day! =(

7.30 pm: Iftar dinner with Naz's family..

8. 00 pm: Facebooking ;p

8.30 pm: Driving back to my house

Cuba beza kan muka pagi-pagi saya pukul 8. 30 am dengan muka ketika jam sudah menunjukkan pukul 8. 30 pm! hahaha.. Bila dah guling guling dekat rumah Naz tu, saya dah malas nak belit and lilit tudung saya, maka.. style Poh Bedah pon jadi lah yer! Saya sudah letih bangat! Nak balik cepattt.. Ya ampunn! ;p

9.30 pm: Arrived home!

10. 00 pm: Showered, Bayrock, Slipped in my pajama..

11. 00 pm: Online! (And updating this blog for this entry!)

1. 00 - 7. 00 am: Cuba teka saya buat apa? Heeeeeee ;p

Haaa...productive tak?? hahahaha. Okayy bye..saya nak tidur! Sekian laporan dari saya untuk hari ini! =)

A Happy but Clueless Girl

Hey guys! How are youu? How was your weekend? (Okayyy.. Wth? Soalan common. hehee) ;p

Me? Grrrrreat! I am really really in a good mood lately. Probably because I have just finished my very last paper last week! Phewwww..
It was a 2 and a half hour paper. Full essay from A to Z. Gosh..I hate essays. Especially if I can't remember my points! But if my memory system in my brain is functioning normally on that day, then I'd be so happy to answer all of the questions, with long long looooongg explanations. hahaha

Things I usually bring in the examination hall room: Lots and lotsa pens/pencils/highlighters/erasers/correction fluids/etc - The reason why I bring so many stationary items in the hall, because I need to have back ups just in case my pen dies while answering the questions (I do not want to experience like Mr. Bean had! haha), next is Matric Card, Exam Slip, Calculator (if needed), Tissue Paper, Mineral Water 1.5 Litre, Car Keys. Hmm.. that's all I think..

But this time, since it's my last paper, I brought along my camera too, for me to snap some photos after the exam has ended.. Well, just for memories sake =)

Exam Venue: CAC Conference Room 1 & 2, Subject: System Analysis & Design, Time & Date: 2.30 pm - 5.00 pm, 16th June 2010

Okayyy.. Starts answering, students!! 10 short essays, 3 long essays. Hmm..sounds like fun! LOL ;p

Hmm..after a good 2 hours, I managed to answer everything. I think I did okayy. I was happy the whole time I answered the questions. Oh so magical! haha. ;p Well the moment I opened the question booklet, I smiled happily! Kinda prepare for that questions.. Yeayyy.. So I really hope I can score for this subject. Oh well..it all depends on the lecturer's generosity and err..the accuracy of my answers too, I guess..hehe.. So jangan happy sangat, nanti esok esok keluar result, sedih kang baru tahuu.;p

Anyways, I didn't get out earlier though. I used that extra 30 minutes to check back everything, every word, every spelling, sentences, every graph and drawing, and I even highlighted the words with orange, yellow, pink, blue, green for some key important points for the answers, for easy grading and marking.

So Dr. Hizam, you better give me an A! hehe =)

Anyways..now that my exams are over..and studying life is finally over, I really really have no idea what to do next. I mean, I am torn between pursuing my studies to the next level, which is Masters, or Working.

Well, I have spoken to my dad regarding this matter. Years ago, he used to support me to further my studies right after I graduated. But knowing my dad, he would usually say like some positive things you wanna hear, but when the time has come, for some reasons, he sort of hesitating to do it. hehe. So before I start planning something, I asked him again the other day just to make sure.. Because I do not want to plan everything like doing some sort of a research on where to study, the costs, the subjects, studying the map of the selected university, finding out the standard of living there, explore the places such as where to live, the public transportation, the halal food area, and so on and so forth, just yet.

I do not want to plan/search for everything, and then when asked, all the effort will be crushed into pieces because daddy didn't allow me to. Hmm.. so that's why I prefer to ask him again before starting to do my research. (Sebab benda ni bukannya nak rushing rushing pon. Bila-bila boleh start belajar, right?)

And yup, as expected he said it would be better if I pursue my master when I am a bit older (and wiser) and had some experience of working for about a few years. Well, he got some points there and there's some reasons behind it too, actually.

So yes, true that. I agree.

But..I've seen many people take masters right after their degree programme these days. Right guys? And I have asked their opinion too, and they said, they can still cope and manage as it's not that hard and have a huge difference with degree pun. Hmm.. I dunno about that, sebab susah and senang sesuatu benda tu, is really really subjective. Some people said this thing is so easy, and that thing is hard, and some won't agree with any of it. Or whatever.. Hmmm.. So I dunno.  =/

Actually the reason why I wanted to further my studies right after this, is because a) Degree is too common now. And I have always imagined/wanted to get at least a master just like my dad b) I want to get a master at a young age c) I want to experience to learn in a different environment d) I am still not married yet so I can focus and give full commitment e) I want to learn to be independent and live on my own  f) I am still in the mood to study - I'm afraid that once I work, I don't have a heart to further my studies anymore.. and lastly and most importantly is because g) I am still not ready physically, emotionally and mentally to have a real job. I mean, I am not ready yet to face the world that has no endings. Work, work, work and work every morning from Monday till Friday, and every year until I'm old! I do not want to work like a dog! Goshh..that sucks! hahaha ;p Can't I just study my wholeeee life? Cehhh..macam lah rajin sangat! haha =P

Anyway, mom agreed on this. I mean, she wanted me to pursue.. while daddy, for some reasons he is still hesitating. Hmm.. I am not complaining or whining ke apa.. Not at all. I mean, it is totally my dad's rights and choice. Ye lah, saya anak dia, still under jagaan dia, all the decision and financial planning/source would be from him. So..apa-apa pun, kena dengar cakap dia. Plus, I know he is worried about me studying there alone. Makan minum saya, sakit saya, transportation saya, pergaulan saya and et cetera..

Hmm.. Therefore, I am so clueless on what to plan next. I mean I know what I want, but..I can't have it just yet. So, might as well have some back up plans or something I guess.. Hmm..kalau I dah ada partner kan senang. Not that I am so desperado ke apa la kann.. I just mean like, at least boleh plan future sama-sama. Tak la pening sangat saya pikir sorang-sorang and then nanti plan saya clash dengan plan dia ke apa kan, bila nanti kita dua compare plan masing-masing..hahaha.. Apa aku merepek ni.. ;p (Oh, and for that partner/family part pun, I have another plan! Adeii..banyak betul plan aku ni. haha)

Haihhh.. Banyak nya kena plan hidup ni!! I hate growing up! =(

Hmm..but whatever it is, all I know is that, as of right now..I do not want to find a job straight away. I want to relax for a few months (five freaking years of studying is sooooo long man! I deserve a break! heh), and then kalau nak kerja baru lah okay..kot? Tah lah.

Kalau end of this year I baru nak start kerja, lama sangat ke cuti I tu? hehee. Or perhaps January next year je lah I start. Lama sikit I boleh lepak, before I start working sampai ke tua..
Half a year I cuti, ok lah tu kan kann untuk kerja for like what 20, 30 years straight?! Goshhhh.. Even the thought of it makes me sick! Ishh... Life's suck! hahaha ;p

Plus, there are so many things this 21 year old girl have in her mind for her 'Summer Break'. She wants to travel, she wants to learn to cook (sebab nanti dah start kerja mesti penat selalu or dah hilang mood nak belajar masak..hehe), she needs to finish selling her stuff and clear off her closet, she extremely needs to lose weight, and so many many many things that 'She needs'.

Therefore, she just wants to breathe and relax for now!

Boleh tak? heh

P/S: So kakak-kakak sekalian, what are your opinions? Sambung study ke? Or kerja terus ke? Or kerja for a few years and then only I should pursuing my studies ke.. Or what? What do you think?

P/P/S: I have updated my sales blog. Do check it out. Happy viewing!

What Happens When Shazwani Is Having A Final Examination Week?

Remember I made this post few months back when I was in the middle of final exams and stressing out myself? haha. Well..this semester, most of my examination dates are too close with each other..and I've been stressing out myself even more worse than last semesters. Heee. Well, as I mentioned in the earlier post, I've got four papers back to back in this week! And am glad those four papers are now finally over! Phewww..It's a huge relieved for me! I think I have become like a zombie for the past few days! My eyes are not as beautiful as it should be (ha. ha). And most importantly, I did not get enough sleep and rest. Ugh.

You know.. I think it's not fair for lecturers to set an examination dates on a study week! What the heck man. There's a reason why they call it a study week! They want students to have a lil' gap to study (or to relax) after their last class and before the exam week starts! Ni tak, I have started my examination two days earlier than the other students! (Well.. Mmmm okayy fine. I am not the only one. There's a lot of other students/class that have the same situation as mine). But hey, study week IS a study week! Mana acii..class baru je habis on Friday, pastu tiba tiba je nak ada final exam on MondayTuesdayWednesdayThursday terusssss. Bagi la Cik Shazwani ni nak bernapas sikit..huhu =P

Well..anyway..despite not having enough time to really study well and prepared myself for the papers..I think I did okay for that kind of time line. heh. Sebab ye la, that last week before the final exam starts, my life was miserable. haha. I have presentations and projects to be submitted all week! And I mean on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!! Setiap hari ada je benda nak kena buat. So memang takde masa nak study awal. So imagine lah..how was I supposed to study for those four papers on that weekend? Ada dua hari je nak study for a total 56 freaking chapters??! huhu. Sebab tu saya freaked out. Heee. =P

Anyway..

Wanna know what happens (or rather happened) when this girl is having a final exam week and how she coped with the stress?

Read on! =)

1. She will buy lots and lots of mineral water (2 bottles for each day) for her brain to work and function well. (Kalau minum banyak air, otakku jalan laju sikit. Sikit je la tapi. haha) =P

2. She will take her Agel vitamins. It's a vitamin in a gel form. fyi. Very yummy. (Mom told me that the orange ones, which is called Ohm is for the brain or something. Not so sure. I just shut up and take it. Konon konon nak kasi tiba tiba boleh jadi genius la..LOL)

3. She will also take some other vitamins and supplements for her body to be functioning extra normal on that exam week. haha =P

4. And she will purchase a well stock Kotex pads & Carefree pantiliners too, since she consumes a lot of water during this week. Takut kalau nervous sangat time exam tu sampai terkencing dalam seluar ke kan..hahaha. JK =P

5. She will have her Aik Cheong coffee on the night she wishes to stay up late, to hit the books (or Gossip Girl. haha)

6. She will devastatingly open her thick yucky text books and starts to flip through and read those boring words and texts.

7. Since she can't get herself focus and seemed to know and remember what she read in those text books, so she wrote some short notes and jot down some important facts for her to memorize and make her life simpler.

8. But after she completed all the short notes on her A4 papers, she realized..her life isn't that simple actually. Those so called short notes has covered more than half of her queen-sized bed!

9. She realized that those notes that were on those A4 papers (back and front) are impossible to memorize within a short period of time! Not so short/simple now, ey?

10. With the time line that she has, she freaked out even more when she saw those notes that she made. 7 chapters for Consumer Behaviour, 9 chapters for Marketing Research, 14 chapters for Computer Networking and 26 chapters for Internet Applications. Oh. My. Goddd.

11. She got so stress up and can't seem to memorize what she reads, so she took out her note books and started doodling and writing craps.

12. And then when that didn't seem to help, she went to her dressing table and took her fave perfume and started spraying her bed, her chair, her curtains and on herself as an aromatherapy to ease the tension.

13. And then when that didn't work out as well, she'll start to take out all types of her facial masks - be it the cooling ones, the whitening ones, the peel-off ones, the pedih type, the clay or mud type, and so on, to do some sort of facial for herself because she thought this will help to calm herself down..

And then while she leaves her mask to dry up.. she accidentally fell asleep because the mask is so calming! haha.

And woke up the next morning feeling setupit and wasted her precious time. Heee =P

So..that's the story on how she coped with her final examination stress! LOL.
Oh, I have another two papers. One is on this coming Monday (29th), an English paper. And another one is on 4th April. Lama lagi. So boleh lepak lepak lagiii and main main facial! Heee.

P/s: Adik-adik, jangan ikut tingkah laku Kak Wani ni ye! Heeee.
