My Last Day in Perth! (Finally! haha)

This is a pictorial entry. (But sorry for the poor quality of photos! At that time, I haven't bought my new camera yet!)

Hey guys!

Pheww. At last.. I managed to make a post on my last day in Perth! Hahaha.. I knowww, my Perth story memang dah basi.. but what the heck..I still wanna share my experience.. And actually, of all the days while I was in Perth, this is my most favourite day because I really get to shop till I drop, for the whole day! It's really fun to have a day like this.. I mean like shopping for the entire day! From morning till evening.. Masuk kedai, keluar kedai, masuk kedai, keluar kedai.. Itu aje kerja saya. Heeee.. The feeling is so nice.. You know when you buy something that is so nice..and can't wait to open it and try them at home..  Mmmm.. I really like that feeling! =)

And yes, when I say I shopped till I drop, I really mean it.. Something really terrible happened to me at the end of that day.. Read on to find out! (Cheh..bunyi macam excited..padahal benda yang teruk sangat terjadi kottt. Heee. - I almost died. Seriously. tskk)

My Seventh Day in Perth

Tonight I don't feel like updating stories on my Indonesia trip just yet.. I think I would like to finish up my stories on Perth first (that's about another 2 entries left..and then I'll be done with Perth! Yeay!).

So anyway, for this entry, I will update you on our Seventh Day in Perth. This day was one of my favourite days of all the days while we were in Perth! Why? Because we've been to one of the most beautiful island on earth! Plus, on that night I experienced and saw something I've never seen before.. That's why this would be the day that I love the most amongst all my days in Perth.

So anyways.. just for your information, Rottnest Island is classified as an A Class Reserve and this is one of the most beautiful islands in the world! We spent almost all day in here. Well.. from morning till evening!

Okay, I won't bebel much now. This is a pictorial entry. Go ahead, feast your eyes with some beautiful pictures of the island!
Now start scrolling! =)

Top 10 Perth Destinations!

Experience Western Australia! World class restaurants, stunning national parks and the majestic rivers- all right on Perth’s doorstep! Coupled with AirAsia’s fabulous low fares, it seems like too good a deal to miss!

As you all know, I’ve been to Perth last December. For me, I personally think that Perth is a great place for a family trip. The place is just so relaxing and laid-back.. It’s pretty great for those who want to unwind and enjoy the beautiful sceneries and experience seeing all the Australian wildlife, the national parks and so many other great things!

If you’re looking for a fun holiday that the whole family can enjoy, Perth has many options and destinations to choose from and will guarantee to leave everlasting memories!

From my own experience, here’s the Top 10 Perth Destinations that I think you should really visit and experience for yourself!

1. The Kings Park
Kings Park is one of the highlights of Perth. First thing to observe is this park has locations with excellent views of the City and Swan River. The views from up here were simply panoramic and the gardens just stunning! It is a very large park, which is a great place for a picnic with your friends or family, walking or quiet contemplation. I would definitely recommend it to all travelers!

2. Fremantle
Fremantle is an artistic and vibrant port city; boasting beautiful scenery, unique inhabitants, culture and art. It's truly a vibrant city! They have such amazing heritage buildings, fine restaurants, vintage stores!!, markets, museum, art galleries, and lots more attractive places! A. MUST. VISIT!

3. AQWA, Aquarium of Western Australia
Marvel at the tropical coral reef, rich kelp beds, giant sharks, rays and turtles on an underwater journey at Australia's largest aquarium on the coast of Perth. There’s even a touch pool teeming with starfish, stingrays and itty-bitty sharks! Coooool! This place is definitely not the ordinary aquarium! The creatures on display are very well presented and overall I felt that this was a superb experience. Plus, the staffs were very friendly too!

4. Caversham Wildlife in Swan Valley
Cuddle a wombat, feed a kangaroo or get friendly with a koala at Perth's premier native animal park in the Swan Valley!

Get friendly with a wallaby, cuddle a koala, feed the deer, or watch the monkeys play. Caversham Wildlife Park, a menagerie of native and exotic animals and birds, will prove a fun day out particularly for children. Take a picnic or cook up a feast on one of the on-site barbecues. The kiosk offers light refreshments and ice creams, plus souvenirs. The farm encourages a very interactive environment ensuring plenty of opportunities to get up-close and personal with the residents.

5. Golden Grove Orchard in Chittering Valley
Situated in the beautiful Chittering Valley some 70+ kms north east of Perth, Western Australia the famous Golden Grove Orchard is THE place to visit for superb citrus fruit!

6. Rottnest Island
Rottnest island is truly inspiring, and some of the finest beaches in the world can be found on Rottnest; with its white luminescent sand, clear turquoise water, coral reefs, and amazing aquatic life. Rottnest Island is definitely a small slice of paradise. Only one word could describe this island: MESMERIZING.

7. Perth Zoo
Revered around the world for its conservation work, Perth Zoo's furry friends enjoy a state-of-the-art African Savannah, Asian Rainforest and Nocturnal House.

8. Hillarys Marina/Sorrento Quay
20 kilometres north of Perth at the end of Hepburn Avenue. While you are there: look at boats and luxury launches, sit and enjoy the restaurants, cafes and bars, browse in 60+ shops along the boardwalks, book ferries and fishing trips, ride a water slide, fish from the jetty, swim or walk along the beaches, catch a wave at nearby Sorrento Beach.

9. Swan River
The Swan is a seemingly endless and gentle river intertwining the feet of beautiful Perth. Perth and the Swan are recognized as one in the same. The gentle river meets magnificent green parks, which hover below the beautifully towering expanse of the city. Take a leisurely stroll or cycle along the gleaming Swan River, with a dual cycleway/walk trail offering commanding views of the city skyline and Kings Park. Be sure to visit the stunning Swan Bells at Barrack Square.

10. Shopping Centre!!!
  • a) Harbour Town
Visitors to Perth can't afford to miss Harbour Town Outlet Shopping Centre, the state's first purpose built outlet shopping precinct.

  • b) Hay St. Mall
For a retail fix, there’s no better place than the Hay St Mall for a shopping tour. The largest shopping complex in Perth, its home to literally hundreds of boutiques, chain stores, department stores, and eateries.

  • c) Karrinyup Shopping Centre
This is the biggest shopping mall in Perth. It is SO big! The shopping mall is only a 2-storey building, but there are so many shops in there! There's a lot of big departmental stores like Myer, David Jones, Woolworths, Big W, anddd more than 170 specialty shops/boutiques in that shopping centre!

Perth is the only capital city in Australia where you can chose to either explore a world-class restaurants, picnic in one of Australia’s oldest conservation areas or watch the sunset over the ocean, all within 30 minutes from the city. And with more hours of sunshine than any other capital city in Australia, whichever activity you choose, chances are that there will be a blue sky overhead. It’s no wonder Perth has been voted as one of the world’s most beautiful cities.

My Sixth Day in Perth

Of Visiting The Zoo and Vintage Shopping.

(Yes, again..Mind you, this is such a looong entry.)

On our sixth day in Perth, daddie decided to have a quite relaxing leisurely trip.. So the Perth Zoo it was! (I love animals, but it was kinda unamusing anymoree as we've seen enough animals already on our Fourth Day.) Plus, I don't have a 'proper' attire (and bag and shoes anddd..heheh) that I brought with me from KL for a zoo trip.. Heee. But oh well...the daddy haven't seen those Australia's wildlife yet, plus he doesn't want anything too tiring I guess- cuz during day 1 till 4, he was busy playing golf with his friends. hehe. So okayy..nevermind.. Ikut je lah =)

My Fifth Day in Perth

Okay. So here's a little update on Perth. =)

On this day, we only went for shopping! Yes, shopping for the whole day!! So most of the time, we were indoors. And I was busy browsing and shopping that I forgot to take some photos, for me to share it with you guys here.. So, nothing much to share/show though in this day. sob sob.. =(

So anyway, on that day, Aunt Maria and Uncle Abbas brought us one whole family to the biggest shopping mall in Perth, Karrinyup Shopping Centre to feast our eyes and feed our hands.

It is SO biggg! The shopping mall is only a 2-storey building..but there are so many shops in there! I almost got lost in there! There's a lot of big departmental stores like Myer, David Jones, Woolworths, Big W, anddd more than 60 specialty shops/boutiques in that shopping centre! It is indeed, not enough for me to spend a day in this mall..cuz, there's just so many interesting things to seeee!!! (and maybe buy!) ;p

It's funny you know... I went to Perth in December 2009. And after came back from there for about 2 months plus noww, I only managed to update you guys on Perth up until Day 3 only? Hahaha. That just shows how busy I was (and still am) for this semester! Oh...and I have another ermm...maybe 4 or 5 days more stories on Perth to tell you! I dunno when am I gonna reach till the end of the story! Hee!

Anyways. Let's cut the crap. So here goes my story on Day 4 in Perth!

(Warning! This entry might be the most longest post I've ever done. It contains a lot of photos! I repeat, it's full with pictures! So be prepared to be bored! Heee..) =P

Okayy let's proceed..

On our fourth day in Perth, while daddy went out with his friends to play golf for the whole day, we (my mom, my brother and I) went to six places on that day! (That explains the longest post everr! hehe). First we went to the Hyde Park (No..not the one in London! Heee. This one is in Bulwer Street, West Perth).

A little update..

I miss my blog so much! Everyday, when I log in, I feel like updating it..but I ended up doing some bohring assignment or studying or some other unnecessary stuff. Hmm.. I want to update my blog on Perth, on my updates about myself, about meatballs session with friends, about my poor little dented rims/tyre, about my ride in an ambulance, and some other things! But I just couldn't find the right time to blog just yet! Ishh. Been really busy with assignments and exams (and daydreaming!)
I need 36 hours in a day, pleaseee! So I can balance my studies, my blogging time, my hibernating time and my lepak time! Heee..

Anyways.. so these are just some of the random pics that I took during my Fourth Day in Perth. Will update on the stories soon! =)

Dah, tu je dulu. nanti lah yer.. Mak busy ni! Nak sambung tido! Bubbyeee!

My Third Day in Perth

Okayy..so here goes my story on Day 3 in Perth.

Nothing much to story, actually. Cuz on this day Aunt Maria brought us to a place called AQWA (The Aquarium of Western Australia). So basically tengok-tengok haiwan (dan sesi hairan terhadap mereka je la..) It's like our Aquaria in KLCC. Only thing, dia kat tepi laut. So feel dengan alam air tu lebih sikit la. heh =P

Anyway..I let the photos do the talking kay, like they say..a photo can say a million things.. Plus, I'm actually quite tired to story morry. haha. Oh yeah mind youu, this entry is full with photos, photos, and photos. Heee. Seriously. So please don't feel bored or something, kay! Kalau bosan, tidur je. Saya tak marah. heh. I just want to give you guys a little bit taste of Perth ;P

Okayy..so here goes..

Just arrived. I like seeing all these boats. There's this feeling macam calm or something..

These are called Old Wives. Because when they are annoyed, they'll grind their teeth and make a grumbling sound that reminded fishermen of their wives! haha. Siot je..bagi nama sebab tu =P
(Note: To my future husband, don't you dare named something after my grouchy nickname! haha. Kalau nak bagi nama, bagi yang comel-comel macam Young Wife ke.. Cute Wife ke.. Honey Bun ke..or better yet, Shazwani Hamid! haha) Ok..aku merepek. I should stop. =P

My Second Day in Perth

Since it was Friday on our second day in Perth, daddie decided to leave the apartment after Friday Prayer (he refused to solat qasar in our place, even though we're a traveller/musafir. Dia cakap, kalau pergi masjid, kot kot boleh jumpa orang Melayu ke.. So boley kawan. Hee. Comel je)

So anyway..that day we went out around 2 something o' clock in the afternoon. And since it was quite late for us to go sightseeing or anything, daddie suggested that we went for shopping! =)

Uncle Abbas took us to Harbour Town, the home of outlet shopping. No, this outlet store is not something like this! They don't have designer goods here (how I wish), but they only have those branded stuff, like Adidas, Nike, Bras N Things, Cue, Jayjays, Portmans, Forever New, Yd. and so on. Well..most of them are Australian brand. And I wasn't very familar with the names tho..but they do have wonderful stuff! But...of course, it comes with a wonderful price tag tooo! =(

Well, to be honest with you kan, I think stuffs in Australia is a weeee bit expensive la. Especially those brands yang memang ada kat all over the world. Those yang Australian brand tu, tahan lagi lah price dia.. (tp for me, still mahal gak lepas dah convert pun. Saya student je. Tadek duhet. Adehh..)

Anyways.. we had nasi and roti for breakfast in the morning. MamAbah suruh isi perut bila travel =)

Nasi lauk Sambal apa tah, Telur dadar and Sayur. Mama masak. Sedddap even tho simple je! heh. =)

So..after my dad and the lil' bro have returned to our place after solat, guess whattt... Daddy handed me some monayyy! Wooh. Excited gilaaa weyyy. huhu =P

How I wish all these are for my SHOPPINGGG! haha. =P
